Abbey Gardens School offers a therapeutic educational approach with a staff team dedicated and determined to support every individual and a pastoral area that offers purposeful breakout, sensory and individual learning spaces.
The Clinical Team ensure the young people have the necessary tools (e.g. communication strategies/emotional and sensory regulation strategies) to be able to access and enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum.

Our team works with pupils, alongside parents and carers to agree on therapy objectives which will form part of their school life.
The clinical therapy team operate predominantly using an integrated therapeutic model, immersing themselves within the classroom to ensure pupils learn to implement and generalise the use of strategies with the guidance of support staff.
